Job Description
The Warehouse Associate works closely with the Warehouse team to ensure quick and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing customer repairs and shipments.
Job Responsibilities • Prepare customer sales and repair orders for shipping on the same day they are printed. • Handle international shipments to and from the U.S., including preparing shipping documents. • Inspect and handle CSA-inspected products. • Load and unload trucks. • Maintain accurate inventory records. • Process various transactions using warehouse management systems. • Report any product quality issues to Warehouse management. • Maintain productivity and keep accurate activity logs. • Drive forklift truck if certified, for loading and unloading goods and other warehouse tasks. • Use other warehouse equipment as needed. • Monitor inventory supplies and inform Warehouse Administrator when supplies are low. • Assist with cycle counts and report discrepancies. • Assist with receiving and refurbishing as needed. • Follow all company policies and procedures. • Keep the work environment safe and clean. • Perform other assigned duties.
Job Qualifications
Required: • High school diploma or equivalent. • At least one year of experience in an electronic shipping environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
Preferred: • Basic math skills. • Forklift driving experience is a plus. • Experience with JDE or SAP is an advantage. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Familiarity with material handling equipment. • Computer literacy and familiarity with ERP inventory control procedures. • Technical skills in repair activities and quality inspection. • Completion of required technical training. • Hepatitis B vaccination may be recommended due to potential exposure to blood or bodily fluids.
